DescriptionTwo people stand around a horse-drawn cart laden with freshly cut alfalfa in a field near Albuquerque, New Mexico, facing east. One person stands atop alfalfa piled onto the cart and the second stands on the ground near the horses. He holds the handle of a pitch fork while the fork is buried in a pile of alfalfa. The Sandia Mountains emerge from the horizon.The bottom left corner of this glass plate has been broken off.
