DescriptionThis circular ceramic plate includes a thick gold border along its top outer perimeter, including six, evenly spaced ornamental forms encompassing dark, thinly-lined designs. The outer border also includes what appears to be two small, protruding handles on opposite sides, each with a triangular-shaped, cut-out silhouette. A thin, gold pattern separates each of the embellishments, followed by a large illustration of five white calla lilies, two green leaves, and accentual foliage. The plate's underside includes a small emblem, representing its German origins, as well as cursive lettering above it, reading "Reinhold Schlegelmilch / Tillowitz", and "Germany" in capital, serif lettering. On View
