DescriptionThis circular ceramic plate includes a gold border with small divots throughout, framing its top outer perimeter, followed by a dark-colored border with a small, gold bordering, also mirrored in the plate's framing of its illustrations and central, circular frame. Illustrational depictions of pink roses and leaves are visible just beneath the dark bordering, all appearing in "C" shapes, creating a consistent pattern throughout. Three evenly spaced illustrations are encompassed in oval frames along the perimeter. The first illustration on one side showcases a woman in a light-colored dress, holding her hat and sitting down, next to a standing man with what appears to be a cane. The next illustration, located at the top, showcases a standing woman holding her hat in a light pink dress, next to a kneeling man holding and looking at her hand. The third illustration, located on the other side, depicts a sitting woman in a light-colored dress, next to a standing man. Following the same dark brown/maroon and gold bordering beneath the illustrations sits a circular frame composed of orderly pink roses and leaves. The interior bordering includes a gold, thinly-lined patterning. The center surface of the plate depicts a floral motif constructed of small, intricate gold embellishments. On View
