DescriptionA man sits on the driving bench of an enclosed carriage drawn by a two-horse team on a dirt road in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The carriage is parked at the curb of a stone sidewalk in front of a large stone building with a wrought-iron balcony at the top of the frame. The man wears a fedora, a single-breasted lounge or sack suit, gloves, and his legs are wrapped in a stripped blanket. There is a pocket watch chain hanging from his vest pocket. "OAKEY'S" is handwritten on one of the carriage's posts.
