DescriptionThe interior of the Exhibit Building at the New Mexico Territorial Fairgrounds on West Railroad Avenue at Rio Grande Boulevard in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico. A group of adults and children in slack suits, princess line gowns, and children in dresses and knickerbockers are inside the building. The floor is dirt and wood planked. The high-pitched roof has grasses hanging from the rafters and a beam in the foreground is decorated with a variety of dried foliage. A no smoking sign hangs on the beam. Displays line the walls.

Railroad Avenue's name was changed around 1908 to what is now Central Avenue. Central Avenue also overlaps with the historic Route 66.
