DescriptionThe storefront of Schuttler Wagons Hardware Company in Albuquerque, New Mexico located on the corner of First street within the one-hundred address block. The two-story wooden building has a corner-oriented entrance and a large wraparound porch with a balcony above it. Hung from the balcony is a series of signs, "SCHUTTLER WAGONS," "ALBUQUERQUE," and "HARDWARE COMPANY." A man stands on the front steps leading to the entrance. He wears a fedora, vest with a button-down beneath, tie, and starched white collar. Wooden wagon wheels, ploughs, and other equipment are on the wooden porch next to the dirt roads. There is a barn-like building with a balcony and porch to one side and D.L. Sammis & Company is on the other side. Electric wires span the sky.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss in image.
