DescriptionThis concert roller organ features a carved, rectangular wooden base and a front handle with a crank. The top plane of the instrument reads "Concert Roller Organ" in large lettering. The plane also includes decorative embellishments reminiscent of scrollwork and various hinges, revealing a panel that flips upwards. The panel showcases a label indicating the directions to utilize the device. The front-facing panel of the instrument includes a rectangular window framed with wood and a small, rounded knob on the bottom portion, allowing the user to lift the panel and view the musical mechanisms inside. Just beneath this, the metal crank with a wooden, bulbous head is visible. Beneath the crank, further decorative motifs are illustrated. The mechanisms of the device include two cylindrical portions with small, metal studs, and a small board encompassing the reeds and valves. A decorative design illustrating a vase holding flowers is visible on one side of the board.
