DescriptionThis Zenith radio is enclosed in a rectangular suitcase, serving as a protective layer, which includes a curved handle and four metal latches at the top. Additionally, several decorative stripes are visible along the panels of the suitcase. Upon opening one side of the suitcase, the radio itself is visible, comprised of a square speaker grille with rounded edges, and a meter with a black background sitting adjacent. The meter encompasses a pointer and an arced square with numeric labels spanning from fifty-five to one-hundred-fifty. The center of the meter reads "Zenith / Long Distance", and "With Wavemagnet" is written beneath it. The bottom portion contains patent numbers in small lettering. Underneath the meter sit two, rounded, ridged, white dials with a small engraving of the Zenith logo in the center of each dial. Opening the other side of the suitcase reveals the inner mechanical mechanisms of the radio, including various wires and what appears to be different motors. A metal segment divides this portion of the suitcase and showcases a rectangular, black label containing information about the device. A box labeled "Tung-Sol / 1LA6 / Electron Tube" is also visible on this side of the suitcase. An antenna is attached to a portion of the suitcase's interior by a rectangular strip of material. The antenna lies flat and encompasses a loop-like form. Additionally, an illustration of a red magnet with silver ends and red lightning bolts emerging from each end is showcased on the antenna, while "Radio" is written vertically on the top portion, and "Wave Magnet" and "Zenith" are written on either side.
