DescriptionA bronze low-relief diptych featuring a continuous scene. The left panel shows a figure wearing regalia featuring curled horns and handheld poles that touch the ground. This figure faces right. To the figure’s left is a second figure, a Koshare (Pueblo Indian clown or jester) with striped skin and a two-pointed hat, spreading a blanket before him. Two figures stand in the background, each with regalia featuring antlers and handheld poles. The right panel features a similar scene, with a figure wearing regalia with curled horns and handheld poles. This figure faces left toward a matching figure on the left panel. Behind this figure stands two more figures wearing regalia with antlers and handheld poles. The foreground on both panels is made up of a geometric design with desert plants and the background features rolling hills and clouds.
