DescriptionTyped words on the right side of the postcard read, "The Chuck Wagon. A relic of the old round up days almost extinct now-a-days. This one being preserved by the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.” Two women in Western dress squat by a campfire setup beside the covered wagon. There are various cooking utensils scattered nearby, including a large coffee pot on the pretend fire. A pair of chaps hangs by the driver’s seat; in the pocket is a bottle of alcohol. A saddle and other riding gear is perched on a rear wheel. There are various cattle brands imprinted on the wagon. The words “Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce” are printed on the canvas bonnet.
Handwriting on the back reads, “This is one of the old wagons they get out whenever they have old time things.”
