DescriptionA photograph of a drawing under glass. The illustration depicts a covered wagon, livestock, men, women, and children traveling through a desert landscape. Oxen and horses are hitched to the wagon with a woman at the front pulling the reigns of the front most horse. A man on horseback swings a lasso overhead behind the train. A driver and two children sit at the front of the wagon and another man and child walk behind. Beneath the drawing is handwritten, "Early Days."

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
