DescriptionWalgreen’s – Second and Central, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Located in the old N.T. Armijo Building, the crenellations on the roof’s edge have been removed. The building is stone and has signs for Walgreen Drugs, Creamland Ice Cream, Western Union, and the Grand Central Hotel. A variety of offices for lawyers and other businesses are on the second floor; some of them advertise themselves in the windows. People cross the intersection, including a police officer with a pistol in a hip holster. Handwriting on the back reads: ”Hello folks, just a little to say we're sending you a copy of Saturday Eve. Post featuring Abluquerque. It's a very good and interesting article. Mrs. Mullen, the Gage book & saddle shop in the street view is where you met Jay’s nephew’s wife. The Curio shop is Maisel’s where you looked for petrified stones. Hope you enjoy it. -Mrs. & Mrs. D.B. Mullen."
