A neon sign advertising Walton’s is on rounded roof. A screen door entrance faces the camera and beside it is a sign that reads, "Tijeras. U.S. Post Office.” Outside, there is a wooden sign advertising “Walton’s. A good place to trade. Groceries and Meats. Picnic Supplies. Cold Drinks.” Up the sign pole is an arrow pointing toward the building with the word Telephone on it. Cars are parked on the right. Handwriting on the back reads, "“Dear Lucile, here is a picture of the P.O. where we get our mail. It is just off Highway 66 on South State Road 10. Sure wish you folks could come out and visit us this summer. We are about 12 miles past the P.O. up the mountain. Haven't heard from you. Write soon. -Laura. Mrs. Clare King".
