DescriptionThis is a devotional prayer card to Saint John of Nepomuk. The saint is in the middle of the card, wearing priest's robes and holding a crucifix. There is a halo around his head with a ring of five stars in it. He's kneeling on an altar that is being held up by two angels. There is a canopy above him, and four angels hold back the red curtains coming down from the canopy. Below him, sitting on a dais, are two angels and three cherubs. At the bottom of the dais is an oval with these words: "S. Johann/v. Nepomuck/in Prag," refering to John of Nepomuk in then-Bohemia and now Prague, Czech Republic. The card is made of paper that looks like lace, with scalloped edges. On View
