DescriptionA painting depicting three churches in a rural mountain village. The churches are each red white white roofs and tall white steeples. One church faces forward in the center of the painting, a second is behind the first on the left side, and the third is further back on the right. A fourth building, a small grey home with a chimney, is in the background to the right of the first church. The foreground features a dilapidated wooden fence surrounding a cellar door. Golden yellow grass covers the ground and green trees surround each of the buildings. The background is filled with mountainous green hills and a blue sky.
