DescriptionBlack-and-white printed calendar with image at upper left depicting members the Zimbabwe African National Union--Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF). Members of the group hold protest signs with messages that include "Zimbabwe Must Be Free!" At right, a portrait image of Robert Mugabe, founder of the politcal party, is captioned with his name and title ("President, Z.A.N.U."), and below, the message "Peace is our goal, To achieve it, We must fight for it." Additional text below reads: "The international support was there, our supporters were there, our students too were there when the London Constitutional Conference opened in 1979." A bilingual English-Spanish calendar at bottom-left shows the month of January, 1980, next to a logo of the ZANU party with the motto "Let us liberate and rebuild Zimbabwe."
