DescriptionThis matchbook does not contain matches. The background is blue, and the text and illustration are white. Along the fold, in white on the blue background, it says, "DIAL 2-0027/for Reservations." Below this in blue on a white background, it says, "Blue Ribbon/NITE CLUB/Dine, Drink, Dance." In white on a blue background are the words: "Best Orchestra in the Southwest!/HIWAY 85 [star] ISLETA RD./Albuquerque, N. Mex." Along the bottom, in small print, it says, "CLOSE COVER BEFORE STRIKING." On the reverse side, there is an illustration of three bomber planes, and one of them is taking a nosedive. Above the illustration, in white lettering, are the words, "Keep 'em Flying!" Inside a white cloud, next to the bomber taking a nosedive, it says, "Buy/WAR BONDS/AND STAMPS." Along the bottom, in small print, are the words, "UNIVERSAL MATCH CORP. ST. LOUIS."
