DescriptionThis matchbook does not contain matches. The background is cobalt blue, and the text and illustration are silver. Along the fold it says, "Dial 2-0054" for the phone number of the establishment. On one side of the matchbook is the image of a man in a top hat and evening clothes with a woman also in evening dress. Next to them it says, "Club/Chesterfield/Mixed Drinks/As You Like 'Em/DANCING EVERY NITE/3101 W. CENTRAL AVE./ALBUQUERQUE, N.M./CLOSE COVER BEFORE STRIKING." On the other side of the matchbook, there is an illustration of (from left to right) a paratrooper, a nurse, and a man in a military uniform walking arm-in-arm. Inside a silver-colored ribbon over the top of the people it says, "LET'S ALL STICK TOGETHER!" In small print near the very bottom it says, "UNIVERSAL MATCH CORP. ST. LOUIS."On View
