DescriptionThe Indian Village north of the Alvarado Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The adobe pueblo building has two levels and three ladders leading to the different levels of the building. Men, women, and children stand around the village building. Handwriting on the back reads, " Los Angeles March 8 - 1916 Dear Mrs. Keough, Las Sunday Emil and I started for a month's trip to California. The orange and lemon trees are loaded and the apple and cherry trees are all in bloom. Flowers all in bloom. It is certainly a beautiful country. This scenery around Calif. is grand. Hoping you are all well and with kind regards yours sincerely, Marguerite Carrves".On View
