BiographyFounded by Andrew Schwaab (1853-1911) under the original name of Northwestern Stamp Company, it later became Schwaab Stamp and Seal Company in 1881. Initially focusing on metal engraving, the company continued to expand and specialized in manufacturing unique badges, stamps, seals, and other forms of signage. Proving to be a significant company for businesses and promoting events, the company contributed to relevant occasions such as producing commemorative coins for the Presidential Inauguration of S. Grover Cleveland in 1893, the 1904 World Fair in St. Louis, and the Third Annual Cowboys Convention in 1898.
