John Suttman

BiographyJohn Suttman was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended the University of New Mexico from 1975-1979 before turning his attention to designing and fabricating high end fashion jewelry and then furniture design and manufacture and gates. He works extensively with metal fabrication. He apprenticed with his uncle, Paul Suttman, at various times throughout his early career. His art furniture and decorative ironwork have been exhibited nationally and can be found in numerous public and private collections. Suttman has won numerous juried exhibition prizes and has been featured in New York Magazine, Museum and Arts Washington magazine, and Architectural Record, among other publications.
