DescriptionThis rectangular metal license plate is predominantly yellow with embossed blue lettering and design elements. The words “ALBUQUERQUE Tricentennial” appear in bold, with “1706” and “2006” placed below to signify the city’s 300th anniversary. A black and white emblem at the center bears the seal of the City of Albuquerque with the text “CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE TRICENTENNIAL 1706-2006 NEW MEXICO.” The background features an orange silhouette of Albuquerque’s historic buildings and modern skyline, with several hot air balloons floating above. A Zia sun symbol, a recognized emblem of New Mexico, is placed in the top right corner. The plate has a raised border and four mounting slots—two at the top and two at the bottom. Text at the bottom identifies: “ZIA GRAPHICS 1-888-994-7274 www.Albuquerque300.com” (bottom right).
