DescriptionThis wall-mount rectangular commercial beverage sign features a vibrant red-orange background with a thin horizontal white stripe and a thicker black stripe on both the top and bottom of the sign. The center highlights the text "7UP" in bold, sizeable black lettering with a thin white outline. The background also illustrates several white bubbles of distinct sizes surrounding the center text. This beverage sign was likely hung up in the Little House Diner made in 1938 by the Valentine Manufacturing Co. in Wichita, KS. Joe and Della Hernandez operated the diner from 1942 to 1992 on the corner of Eighth Street and Central Avenue before donating it to the Albuquerque Museum. It was moved to Triangle Park and opened as a police substation in 1997.On View
