DescriptionThis wall-mount metal circular commercial beverage sign features a bright cherry-red base color. On the top of the sign, "Drink" is read in smaller white lettering, and the words "Coca-Cola" are highlighted boldly in the company's signature white script lettering in the center of the sign. This beverage sign was likely hung up in the Little House Diner made in 1938 by the Valentine Manufacturing Co. in Wichita, KS. Joe and Della Hernandez operated the diner from 1942 to 1992 on the corner of Eighth Street and Central Avenue before donating it to the Albuquerque Museum. It was moved to Triangle Park and opened as a police substation in 1997.
