DescriptionThis Bernalillo County, New Mexico Community Shelter Plan Map was published by the City Of Albuquerque Planning Department and shows the locations of bomb shelters across the city. The bomb shelter plan featuring a color-coded map of the city and a key to the colors and symbols used for the shelter plan. Insets on the upper left and right corner of the map show the Central Business District (left) and the University of New Mexico (right). The lower right corner has two insets, one with the key to the color coding and the other with instructions called "How to Use This Map". The colors used are green, yellow, orange, pink, red, and white. The roads and locations of shelters are printed in black.
The back of the map includes a list of all of the bomb shelter locations across the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a description of the public address warning signals. Also included are instructions about what people should do when they hear a warning.On View
