DescriptionA young child and a dog pose on a woven rug at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The child stands to the side revealing their right profile and looks towards the camera, over their right shoulder. The child wears pinstriped knickerbockers, dark stockings, leather boots, and a striped long-sleeved blouse with a large ruffle around the neck and wrists. Their hair is done in ringlet curls. Behind them sits a dark colored shaggy dog, likely named Hubbell, with a white patch on its neck. The dog faces the camera and has large floppy ears. It is possibly a spaniel. The glass plate is damaged, causing loss and image deterioration.
