DescriptionSilver bracelet with central, concha-style roundel and starburst motif with vegetal flourishes to either side. The rounded form of the bracelet was created by hammering a malleable sheet of coin silver over a (steel) form and remains open on the backside for removal. The rocker-engraved concha design is flanked by repoussé leaves accented with stamped crescents. Small, punched points adorn the contours of each of these shapes, with the outermost edges of the bracelet featuring parallel bands of repeating elements. The artist's hallmark "P. Shorty" is stamped on the reverse, along with the words "Coin Silver."On View
