DescriptionThis promotional Red Goose coin bank showcases a goose with feather detailing. It refers to the Red Goose Company from St. Louis, MO, which started selling shoes to pioneers traveling west during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. After continuing to promote its shoes, the Red Goose Company trademarked its acclaimed"Red Goose Shoes" in 1906. Standing on a small platform on the bottom, either side of the coin bank reads "Red Goose Shoes" in small red lettering. A coin slot is near the goose's wings on the feathers' top portion. On View
