DescriptionThis matchbox was made to promote La Hacienda restaurant in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. La Hacienda is located in the Cristóbal Armijo House, which was built between 1880 and 1886. The building exists as a symbol of both the Americanization of New Mexico and the state's Spanish heritage. The front face of the box has an image of the front gate of La Hacienda. Above the image is the name "La Hacienda" in red. Both the image and the name are enclosed in a white border. The base of the box is brown, which covers the sides and some of the front and bottom faces. The bottom face of the box has an image of an Apache dancer in brown with small hints of red, highlighting the dancer's crown and chest markings. To the right of the dancer, there is brown text, which promotes the food and atmosphere of La Hacienda. On the side of the box there is a line of text that reads "FOR RESERVATIONS/242-4866." On View
