DescriptionThis object is a triangular-based hollow charcoal iron with wooden handle and hinge. A thumb-operated lever with a five-pointed star motif stamped onto it are located near the front to lock the lid in place. The lid of the iron has numerous triangular serrations allowing for ventilation as a heating element burns. The body of the object also has five internally-hooded semicircular perforations to further aid in ventilation.On View
