DescriptionTwo fisherman cast their lines into the fast-moving water of the Cimarron River in New Mexico. One man stands on a rock on the shore and the other stands in the hip-deep water in the middle of the river. There are pine trees growing on the mountainside in the background and more trees and shrubs along the banks in the foreground.
A typed caption on the back of the photograph reads, "The wild Cimarron River, in northern New Mexico, is a favorite fishing ground for trout anglers. The stream offers native fish, and is also stocked by the State Game and Fish Department."
