DescriptionThe Chama River flows through a shallow canyon in New Mexico. Pine trees grow along the top of the cliffs. There are rocks along the banks of the river at the base of the canyon.
A typed caption on the back of the photograph reads, "The Chama River, in northern New Mexico, roars and tumbles through the canyon below El Vado Dam. The Chama is one of New Mexico's favorite fishing waters with rainbow and Loch Leven trout lurking in its cool waters, awaiting the angler's lure."
