DescriptionSevent trout hang from nails on a piece of wood with a metal sign attached that points left, toward El Vado Dam in New Mexico. The metal sign is shaped like an arrow and reads, "Hotel - Cafe - Motor Boats To El Vado Dam New Mexico's Finest Fishing".
A typed caption on the back of the photograph reads, "This photo is self-explanatory; the sign tells where, the fish prove it. El Vado Dam and Lake on teh upper Chama River in northern New Mexico are favorites with trout anglers. Big catches, such as these, are no uncommon in the lake."
