DescriptionA Ninth Bomb Group Insignia that is possibly from World War I. This photo of a painted artwork is a logo for a military flight organization. The format is circular. Inside the circle, there is a side-view image of a rotund man dressed in a suit with a vest and tie. His is wearing a top hat and carrying a bomb under his left arm. He has something in his mouth, possibly a cigar. The artist’s signature on the bottom reads, "RAD." The photograph has damage.
There is a stamp on the back of the photograph that reads, "OFFICIAL PHOTO - Credit must be given to Photo Det., Rockwell Field, Calif. Air Corps, U.S. Army."
