DescriptionThis campaign button was produced for Gene Lusk's 1966 bid for governor of New Mexico. Lusk ran as a Democrat with runningmate Ruben Chavez. Lusk lost the election to incumbent David Cargo. The button has a lenticular image, which displays two different images depending on the angle. Both images are mostly white with separate lines of text. The text reads "GO/NEW/MEXICO," in blue and "GO/LUSK/FOR/GOVERNOR," in red.On View
