DescriptionThis campaign button was produced for Ray Powell's 1986 bid for governor of New Mexico. Powell lost the race to the Republican nominee Garrey Carruthers. The button is mostly gray, with red, yellow and black detailing throughout. There is an image of a donkey on the button, representing the Democratic Party. Text reads "POWELL/& LUNA."
