DescriptionThis political button was made for Harry S. Truman's 1949 presidential inauguration. Truman's 1948 presidential campaign was plagued by doubt as he stood with a very low 34% approval rating with the general public after the dropbutton of the atomic bomb. He surprisingly won the election and celebrated his inauguration in 1949. The button is all orange with black text. The text reads "I'M/JUST WILD/ABOUT/HARRY."
