DescriptionThis campaign button was produced for Mike Runnels, who ran unsuccessfully in 1986 and 2000 for his father's congressional seat to represent the state of New Mexico. Runnels also served as Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico under Toney Anaya, as a Democrat from 1983 to 1987. The button is mostly red and white with blue and white text throughout. Text reads "I'M FOR/RUNNELS/U.S. CONGRESS."
