DescriptionThis image depicts the exterior of the Fred Harvey Indian Building at the Alvarado Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The foreground of the image depicts a small crowd of ten gathering around three female Native American vendors selling their goods. The vendors can be seen near the right side of the frame sitting with their backs towards a knee high line of bushes. A small collection of clay pots can be seen at the vendor's feet. Behind the crowd, the exterior of the Alvarado Hotel is visible. Several windows, portions of the building's roof, and the exterior walls can be seen. Hanging in the middle of two rounded archways hangs the logo of the Fred Harvey Indian Building above a wall plaque which reads "Indian Building. Fred Harvey".
