DescriptionThis image depicts the exterior of the Fred Harvey Indian Building at the Alvarado Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Near the left side of the frame, five Native American women sit a long a fence selling goods such as pottery, baskets, and small bows and arrows. Four of the women are holding blankets over their heads while the fifth woman stands wearing a wide brimmed hat. In the background, through two archways, several employees and guests of the Alvarado Hotel can be seen. On the wall near the right side of the frame, the logo of the Indian Building hangs above a wall plaque that reads "Indian Building. Fred Harvey".On View
