DescriptionThis image depicts the lunch counter of the La Posada Coffee Shop at the Hilton Hotel at Second Street and Copper Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The counter in the foreground of the image is made of polished wood. On it are two napkin holders, two salt and pepper shakers, and two small sugar bowls. The counter in the midground is made of piloted metal. On this counter are two large coffee containers, a large iced tea container, a sink, two trays with small cups on them, a pile of napkins, a stack of plates, and two cabinets set into the face of the counter. Beyond this counter are two wooden tables with wooden chairs around them. On the wall in the background depicts two large murals. The mural on the left depicts a man sitting on the ground in a large empty desert field. The mural on the right depicts a large empty field with numerous sheep spread around it.
