DescriptionTourists stand in a crowd and look toward two women and a man in costume at the First American Pageant Grounds on East Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The women are dressed in Plains Indian costumes with beads and leather fringe and wearing beaded moccasins. They both wear their long hair in braids. The man stands to the right and wears a cowboy costume with a ten-gallon hat and large leather gloves. He holds the reins of a horse standing to the right of the frame. The tourists are gathered in the background near two cars. Some of teh children in the crowd are barefoot.
