DescriptionSpectators sit and stand on the large pueblo-style facade set at the First American Pageant Grounds on East Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The large papier-mâché pueblo is used as the grandstand seating for the pageant grounds. The crowd is wearing a variety of clothing, some of them costumes. There are wooden ladders leading to the upper levels of the facade. One man stands at the top of the lowest ladder and speaks, while the rest of the crowd looks toward him.
