DescriptionThis image depicts an early open-top 1900s car parked on the side of a dirt road in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Four men can be seen sitting in the vehicle. Two older men sit in the rear talking to each other while the two younger men sit in the front. One of these men has a hand on the steering wheel but both are looking straight ahead.

The two men seated in the back are, from left: Governor Edmund G. Ross, and General Hugh Cameron. Governor Ross wears a knit hat. He and Hugh Cameron also wear coats and have large shaped beards and mustaches.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss. This glass plate has been broken in half.
