DescriptionThe exterior of Hodgin Hall at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a group of eleven students and faculty gathered outside its doorway. The building is brick and stone with a dark door set into the entry arch. The group is staggered on its front steps. From left to right going clockwise is Mr. Bowie, Mildred Whiteman, Mrs. E. Booth, Professor Ramsey, Etta Vaughn, unidentified man, Roy Stamm, unidentified man, Peggie Hauser, Fred Marshall. Behind the woman grinning on the far right wearing a scarf, gigot sleeved coat, and high-crowned hat with bonnet vail, is someone sitting on a step. Only their right arm and hand is visible. Their hand rests on a stack of books and a metal pail on the next step. The men in the photo wear three- piece suits with wool jackets and ties.

Silver mirroring and emulsion dents and scratches on the glass plate are creating image distortion and emulsion loss.
