DescriptionA portrait of the Votow family including Jim (left) and possibly his wife and son Roscoe (right), posing at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque New Mexico. Jim sits in a large carved wooden chair. He wears a three-piece single-breasted suit and tie; he has a large mustache. The child stands beside him in a single-breasted suit jacket with a waistband. A woman stands behind them with eye glasses and wears her hair parted at the side and pulled back away from the face. One hand rests on the top of the chair.Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
