DescriptionA three-member family poses in the Cobb Studio for a group portrait in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The person seated between two standing family members wears a three-piece suit, striped tie, and striped shirt with a separable collar. Both hands rest on his knees, and looks at the camera. Those standing on either side of him wear long-sleeved dresses and wear their hair pulled back from the face. The youth on the right has a pocket watch around the neck tied by a dark ribbon, with the ribbon pinned to the left shoulder. Large, double breasted satin buttons line the front of the dark-colored dress, with an oversized white collared covering the shoulders with a lace trim. The elder figure standing wears a beaded light-colored long-sleeved dress and wears a complex necklace. Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
