DescriptionFour people on horseback face a single-story adobe building on a Pueblo in New Mexico, with their backs to the camera. The horses are saddled and the people are dressed in long-sleeve shirts and some have fringed side seams on their leg wraps and have blankets wrapped around their waists and legs. One person wears a hat and they all have long hair tied in braids pulled to the front. Near the left of the frame a person sits on a wooden ladder leaning against the wall of the adobe building.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss. The bottom right corner of the plate is also chipped.
