DescriptionA studio portrait of two young children, Marguritta [Margarita] and Mesa Rosa posing at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On the left, Marguritta sits in a tall-backed wooden chair, holding a small puppy. She is wearing a light-colored dress with bows at the shoulders, black socks and black shoes with light-colored buckles. She holds the dark-colored puppy in her lap. Just to the right of Marguritte stands Mesa. Their arms are slightly touching. Mesa is wearing a long-sleeved light-colored dress with a high ruffled lace collar. Mesa's left hand holds onto her right wrist, and in her right is a flower. Both children are looking toward the camera.
