DescriptionStudio group portrait of the Albuquerque Volunteer Fire Department Junior Hose Team at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Eight boys are posed for the portrait in front of a hand-painted studio backdrop. Six boys stand in the back row and two boys sit cross-legged in front with a dog named Lockhart in the center front of the group. All eight boys are dressed in a white uniform and knee-high black socks. Six of the boys are wearing dark-colored hats. Lockhart has a white colored body and a darker colored head and ears and is wearing a collar. Handwritten identifications for some of the subjects in the photograph are: Fidel Rosario, center left; Ward Anderson, top right; "Pie" Wilson, bottom right; and the dog named Lockhart, front row, center.
